AFrame Salmon Poke Bowl

  • Thaw frozen salmon fillets (frozen salmon kills the bacteria that could be on the fish, I wouldn’t suggest fresh or you’d risk salmonella exposure)
  • Dice salmon up into small pieces and toss with A Frame Original Datil Pepper sauce and a dash of soy sauce in a bowl; let sit in fridge to soak up flavors
  • Cook sushi rice according to directions (I like to add rice vinegar and a little sugar when fluffing the rice at the end, while it’s still hot so the mixture dissolves) or white rice according to directions; let cool in fridge
  • Layer sushi rice on bottom, and top with your favorite ingredients along with AFrame salmon (edamame, jalapeños, pineapple/mango, cucumbers, radishes, seaweed salad, ginger, etc)
  • Drizzle with spicy mayo (mix mayo with desired amount of sriracha per taste, stir in a little drizzle of sesame oil or lime juice) and A Frame Original Datil Pepper Sauce, sprinkle sesame seeds and green onions
